The Nevis Ensemble is different. Its vision is 'music for everyone, everywhere'. Full-scale orchestral performances of the best, most diverse music you can imagine: popping up and surprising commuters first thing in the morning; entertaining residents in oft-forgotten parts of the city; guerrilla-style appearances in swimming pools; generating huge public audiences in public spaces. There's nothing else quite like it in Scotland. This one-hour performance encompasses classical favourites, pop arrangements, Scottish ceilidh music, jazz standards and everything in between, including a new commission from Matthew Grouse, of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
