Guest post: X-Changing Faces

X-Changing Faces first came together for a charity comedy night in March of this year so this is our first year performing at the Fringe. The Just Festival will only be our second performance ever (ahh!) but we are of course totally confident that we will have everyone in hysterics. We are improvised comedians which means that none of the lines or jokes are rehearsed, we make it all up on the spot using suggestions from the audience. Meaning the audience can have a little fun making our lives difficult…

2018 Just Festival: The Countdown

It’s that time of year again! August is nearly upon us and we’re delighted to present Just Festival 2018.

This year’s programme is packed-to-the-brim with theatre, music, spoken word and wide ranging talks and discussions. Our plays include work produced by the Glasgow Citizens Theatre (Where Are You Really From), winners of Best New Play at the Brighton Fringe (bloominauschwitz) and work from the artistic director of the Royal Lyceum Theatre, David Craig (Dr Korczak’s Example), adapted by Strange Town Theatre Company.

We love to showcase talent from all over the world and are thrilled to present musical acts from Los Angeles (ADAAWE), Ghana (Alabaster Box) and right here in Scotland (The Nevis Ensemble, Harmony Choir and Take Note! Youth Choir)

Our Conversations series is back and better than ever, with topics ranging from the anxiety of Brexit, a day in the life of a funeral director and the ethics of international aid, among many more. For the first time, these events are free – so it will cost you nothing to join the conversation.

We look forward to welcoming all creeds, colours and identities to our programme – and we hope you love it as much as we do!
