This programme comprises new songs written in workshops led by community composer Sally Jaquet, which are evocative intertwinings of Scottish and Ukrainian folk music and stories, as well as choral settings of traditional Scottish songs. This performance will be given by the group of Ukrainian and Scottish singers who came together in these workshops, plus singers from choirs around the city, and will let these newly composed songs have a chance to be heard live.
